I received an interesting email the other day regarding the Scaled Equation results update. This update pointed out the fact Scaled Equation profited 1,547 pips during the week of 04 Aug 2008. The gentlemen who emailed me is new to the forex world and could not understand how just one system could profit so much. With full respect to this gentlemen and his valued question, I decided to answer it publicly.
To completely understand what Scaled Equation is all about, I must give you the background of this amazing yet simple system. A few years ago I was offered a position as a Money Manager with FXCM. I was well aware of the potential earnings with this position, so I decided to give it a go. I began with a small portfolio of clients which started to grow along with their profits. As my client list grew so did my work load. I had to develop systematic strategy with my trades in order to retain control of my time management. I needed a system which would allow for me to only have to check the market once every five or six hours instead of sitting in frount of the computer all day. I also needed the system to perform as well as my current day trade strategy which was earning a respected 5-7% a month.
After plenty of manual back testing and "out side the box" strategizing, I finally completed my quest. Not only did my new system (Scaled Equation) meet the profit criteria of 5-7% gains but exceeded it. I was averaging 10-20% returns and my clients could not be happier. Last year I decided to leave the Money Management position with FXCM and move on to live the dream I always wanted. I want to travel with my wife all around the world and work from my computer minimal as possible. Scaled Equation's time management allowed for me to do such a thing.
Please do not misunderstand, I do not promote the idea of quitting a job just to make a living by trading the forex no matter how profitable the system or trader is. Trading should only be considered as supplemental income purpose. I will not go into the detailed reasons for this but any respectable Money Manager can tell you the same. For example, I own Hedge Master LLC and a Shell gas station. I still make time to check the market once every five or six hours to trade Scaled Equation. Back to last weeks trading... Below this message I have attached a screen shot with my own trades during the week of 04 Aug 2008. I even traveled back from visiting my family and was in the airplane for a full day. Even with all the time I spend in the air, I was still able to grab most of the trade set ups for the week. I am sure Scaled Equation members will be fast to point out my trade statements were missing a couple of trades for the week. Never the less, I still made some amazing profits $8,164.40. My point is that with a 9-5 full time job, there is no reason you could not to make 10-20% monthly average using my system.
As you can see, I don't need a bunch of flying jets, photos of boats and fancy cars dancing around on my website to sell my product. I don't need to say such thing as "Get rich fast trading my system” or “Quit your job and enjoy your new found riches”. I enjoy my reputation in the forex world and I would like to keep it this way.

This guy is good. The product is fantastic. You need not to follow any indicator, the trend is your friend. Just apply the simple scalling, you are set to grap pip as they come.
